I loved the way Larkyn explained how she wanted to remember her last year of school through her senior portraits -- like a snapshot for a time capsule of the person she is today.

Incorporating Larkyn's interests in art, history, and K-pop for her senior photos was simple -- we photographed at several historic locations while she sketched her favorite landmarks, and had an outfit change into a more edgy, alternative look complete keychains inspired from her favorite bands and a unique background that would fit perfectly in a music video.

We met on the very last day in April at Forest Park in St. Louis, Missouri on a comfortably chill day -- not too hot, but not too windy either. First I had Larkyn pose in front of the massive World's Fair Pavilion, then we made our way over to the Jewel Box, and finally ended her session at the Vandeventer Gates as the moon began to rise.
